STB visits Informatics with Chinese education agents

The Education Division of the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) visited the Informatics Singapore campus in a bid to familiarise their Chinese educational partners with our campus and course offerings.
Accompanied by STB Managers, Goh Seng Wee and Nicolette Oh, the team of 10 agents were introduced to Informatics’ comprehensive list of Student Concierge services which includes assisting foreign students with visa applications, airport receptions orientation to the local culture.
They were also shown around the upgraded facilities of our campus, which included the Computing, Engineering and Gaming labs, as well as our canteen which serves international fare.
Some of the Chinese agents had fedback that Informatics is a popular choice with the Chinese students because of the attentive services we provide as our knowledge of the culture is still tops in the private education sector.
Our healthy progression is also attracting more students as affirmed by Senior consultant of the Guangdong Education Service of International Exchanges, Ms Zhang Li Sha said “Informatics is becomingly popular with the Chinese students and more of them are considering Informatics when they want to pursue their education overseas. Many come back with compliments of this institution. Keep it up!” |
