Informatics Education has been cited Best in IT and Computing Studies in Edupoll 2007/08 Citations. The company's share rose 50% in one day on July 6, 2007 on the Singapore Stock Exchange. The performance of the warrants was even more impressive; the price went up 85% on the same day. Investors must be re-looking at the company now as it could be a possible takeover target or a reverse takeover candidate.

The company has been re-focusing its strategy and operations since new CEO Ortega came on board in his new leadership role. In the pipeline is a change in brand identity and initiatives to forge new strategic alliances and partnerships. One such initiative has resulted in Prometric Singapore Testing Centre relocating to the Informatics Campus in Jurong.
