Susi- Testimonial

 

 

Our recent graduate Susi, 26 years old, is the proud recipient of the First Class Honors Degree with Oxford Brooke University (OBU), hosted by Informatics Singapore.

This down-to-earth Indonesian from the province of Medan, is a part-time student of OBU’s Bachelors of Science in Computing and Information Systems (honors) programme.

Susi came to Singapore after completing her Diploma in Computer Studies with Informatics, Kuala Lumpur during a working stint there.Arriving in Singapore, she was determined to complete her tertiary education by studying for an Advanced Diploma in the same stream.

 

 

 

Upon completion of the Advanced Diploma programme, she was fast-tracked to the final year of OBU’s degree course.

When asked why she chose Informatics for her tertiary education, Susi replied “Informatics has always been famous for its variety of courses, in particular Computing. I’ve always wanted to be trained in this area, so Informatics became the obvious choice”.

Exhilarated to be the only one in her cohort with this prestigious honors, Susi has a few words of advice for all striving for the same academic achievement, “I made sure I maintain my grades by always giving my 100 per cent when studying.

 

 

 

I never lost focus. More importantly, we had a very dedicated lecturer at Informatics – Mr. Palaniappan Karuppan Chettiar - who made sure I understood well in class.

He is willing to go out of his way to coach us if we were unclear with certain subjects. Without him, I wouldn’t have attained this good standing. I really want to take this opportunity to thank Mr Pala.”

Next, this straight-As graduate is calling Singapore home as she has just received her Permanent Residency and has landed herself a dream job as a Project Management Executive.
