Programme Aims

This program will assist graduates of non-psychology programs to fulfill the Australian Psychological Society (APS) requirements relating to three-year undergraduate training. Graduates of the program will be eligible to apply for entry to fourth-year programs at USQ and other Australian universities.

Programme Objectives

The Graduate Diploma in Psychological Studies is available to graduates of disciplines other than Psychology. Completion of this program at an appropriate level will enable students to apply for the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Psychology. The program will develop students’ capacity to apply research findings and to analyse critically relevant professional issues affecting current psychological practices and theory.

Admission Requirements

A recognised Bachelor degree from a fully accredited University / College

Programme Structure & Duration

Intake:	March / July / November
Duration:	Part Time / Distance Learning: Minimum of 24 months
Programme Delivery:	Distance Learning Mode with the following support: Exclusive access to USQ Connect, allows you to log on to USQ database library via the Internet 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Comprehensive study materials for individual units are supplied to all students. Direct e-mail contacts with all USQ faculty members. Online discussion group via the ‘Learning Circle’ chat room. Method of Assessment:	All the courses include the combination of the following: One or more assignments Open or restricted examinations 1 or more Quizes Tutorial and Practices Practical exercises The assessment details are subject to change based on USQ’s course requirements each semester. How to Apply

To apply, applicants must complete and submit the USQ and Informatics application forms. The application must be supported by the following:

A one time non-refundable application processing fee.
2 copies of Official Transcripts from University / College
2 copies of Official Certificates

2 Passport Photos
Proof of English Language Proficiency (for non-English speaking countries)

Course Fee:	Distance Learning: S$1,975.00 Module payment Tutorial: $321.00 per module (optional)
Registration Fee:	S$107.00 (Non-refundable)
Mode of Payment:	The modes of payment available are cash, cheque, Nets, Visa/MasterCard and/or Cashier/Money/Postal order. All payments are in Singapore dollars. For cheque payment, the cheque must be crossed and made payable to "Informatics Education Singapore Pte Ltd”.
Closing Date:	1 month before commencement date

All fees quoted are inclusive of 7% GST. The above fee covers all lectures, course notes, class handouts, student fee, library fee, examination fee but exclude textbooks and repeat course fee.
